as a non train driver: what is AWS?

I just applied for a trainee train driver role, i was excited but now i fel like a drop in the ocean haha

In real life this route has considerably fewer services north of Birmingham. Only two trains per hour to litchfield whereas in the game it’s four trains per hour. South of Birmingham it’s the same freauency

In the training, the yellow light when you notch traction is about oil pressure in the traction circuit. If I well understand it you have to wait the light turn off before stop traction to 0 and add traction up to notch 2.

it's always 20kph over the points, doesn't matter if you go left/right or straight or if the speed signature says 30 :) it's pretty much simplification I'd say, in Prague for example the speed depends on whether you're turning or not and also in which direction you go (i.e. if you're going "against the blades" or "along the blades") ... and also some points are lockable, so you have signal before them that could allow you to go faster

I just bought the game. Right now, it's just trams! But dovetail have stated they want to put buses and other forms of public transport in the game. It's obvious that this is NOT TSW. And for this, Dad Rail I dont think needs any disclaimers because they haven't yet included any trains that he might drive!

I really hope they add the Siemens Duewag Supertram from Sheffield. Now this is a tram worthy featuring compared to any other UK tram, due to their age, the fact they're custom built, only 25 in the world and one of the most unique commissions ever done by Siemens, who also built the ULF. I really hope they do bring it out. I keep begging them lol 😂

I too wish for a display like that very time I open or close passenger doors in TSW4!

I hope that they'll resolve the problem with sound licensing for class 380. It will be a shame if they release another desiro with wrong sounds

its km not mph its based off of germany I think. The blue one is bade off of the munich and the ULF A1 is from vienna

Only ever used the west direction from Brighton, the east direction is much more rural, love that part of Sussex.

I think my only comment so far is that everything is way too shiny and clean. There's no dirt or grime or 'realism' in that area. Cars and trams are never this sparkly after they've been outside for more than 24 hours.

That "camera bug" isn't a bug. You're moving the cursor instead of the camera. Try right clicking the mouse and you should be able to control the camera again. It's the same in TSW.

That playfabapi error is related to Microsoft Store/Xbox DRM, and will likely be fixed upon release if i were to guess

Really hope they extend the City transport simulator series to buses and metros at least Perhaps it'd be great to have various bus models as an adjunct to the tram, and have them wait for the tram to connect up with it, just as would be done in a bunch of German cities to get a passenger closer to his home, from, say, the main railway station or something like that

the cab swings around a lot as you exit a curve, doesn't seem correct to me.

So this is just Vienna and Munich TramSim games combined into one, but without the real world routes, and replaced by one fictional city? I don't get it. This is worse than TramSim. What the heck have ViewApp being doing for the last 2 years? They simply need to combine both TramSim games into one and add new real world routes and cities and make the tram version of TSW and they'd have a pretty solid product. But they seem to be messing around with fictional cities and the ability to drive cars around a fictional city. It just seems like they have no direction or focus. Quite disappointing.

older networks are way more fun, if there would be for example Prague network, that would be way more fun than any UK network :) plus it needs some historic trams with all those noises :)

I do miss them. I travelled on the ones out of King's Cross and Moorgate a fair few times, and I was lucky enough to have a cab ride in one

Is 55 to old to apply for trainee train driver operator

we travelled to London via St Leonard's Warrior Sq from Eastbourne last August, love the trip and changing trains at St Leonard's. The trip took 2 hours up and back, we were treated by family to see a stage show in London. I am amazed at the lineside undergrowth, however your video shows that it has been cut bac. Is Mountfield the big tunnel up in Kent as I recall a very long tunnel somewhere up in the high Weald as we went onto Orpington. We were going to Charing Cross to meet friends from our country New Zealand, have a bite to eat and then the show. I had mistakenly asked for one way and paid 100 pounds for that, thinking we were coming back via Victoria to Eastbourne, what a mistake to make would have cost about 26 pounds for us two old crocks. I love riding on the trains in the UK, however this trip we only went once to London as we had other places close by to visit. Thanks for your video.

Best place to have a test track and I mean coz it’s better then going in the loft or anywhere to put on the track and try and get it to run and it doesn’t want to as it does have

I agree with your opinion of the 93. But, if what I’m told is right then they look pretty much the same as our 99s will. Could be wrong though. Looking forward to learning what makes them tick for sure.
